About me: In a family of 5, I am the youngest one. After finishing my High-School, My goal was to Pursue Engineering degree. Even with limited financial means, my parents always encouraged me to pursue my dreams. Prayas Trust helped me meet my financial obligations toward Educational expenses by providing an Interest Free loan. Why I chose engineering: I was always curious about How Things work and had a keen mind, for applying what I learned, to solve real-world problems. My knowledge and skills gained as part of engineering degree gave me that avenue. These abilities gives me greater confidence and help manage my time more efficiently. Why Mechanical Engineering: A Mechanical engineer applies principles of Mechanics, dynamics, energy transfer, design/analysis of complex parts and testing of machines/engines/power equipments etc. Mechanical engineering also provides opportunity to further career in various disciplines like Aerospace, Automotive, Material, Power Generation, Oil and Gas refinary and Petrochemical industries.
